Haiti - FLASH : Daméus backs on his request for blocking bank accounts 14/11/2018 08:02:43 Note dated November 13 from Me Daméus : "The Public Prosecutor's Office at the Port-au-Prince Court of First Instance informs the public, in general, the directors of Haitian banking institutions and those concerned, in particular that, following meetings held with certain managers of companies targeted by the provisional measures taken by the Public Prosecutor's Office on November 12, 2018, thus putting to the test their good faith, and the guarantee of their representation, the Government Commissioner Clamé-Ocman Daméus, decides to cancel the said measures to allow their CEO to compile their files for filing with the Public Prosecutor's Office for a thorough analysis of their situation. In this interval, he formally authorizes the said banks to unlock bank accounts and resume financial transactions with these companies and their shareholders.
