Tuesday, Ricardo de los Santos, President of the National Federation of Transporters of the Dominican Republic (FENATRADO) in a letter to the Dominican Embassy in Haiti, strongly protests against the repeated attacks in this country against the Dominican truckers, who transport goods, deploring the fact that individuals are using violence against Dominican drivers before vandalizing their trucks and looting goods.

He recalls that these violent actions have been going on for years, without the Haitian Government adopting sustainable measures to protect Dominican carriers. He regrets that none of these criminals have been arrested, let alone convicted, and are acting with impunity.

In his letter of protest, he asks the Dominican Embassy in Haiti to intervene with the Haitian Government, so that it guarantees the protection of the lives of the drivers and the goods transported.
