Monday Fritz Caillot, the Minister of Public Works has announced road works, sanitation and road rehabilitation for a period of 3 months, funded to the tune of 1 billion gourdes by Taiwan (Republic of China)

This work, including 28 km of road will involve 6 of the country's 10 departments, including West, North, North-West, North-East, Artibonite and Center. This project will allow to intervene in areas with a high concentration of people to create more than 3,000 thousand jobs, said Minister Caillot

With 37% of the funding the Ministry despite the difficulties encountered, was able to start this month the work in the towns of Tabarre, Carrefour, Delmas, Kenscoff, Croix-des-Bouquets via the national road #8, Les implemented in all targeted areas, says the Minister.
