Jet Blue Airways, the low-cost US airline, celebrates five years of service in Port-au-Prince. On December 5, 2013, Jet Blue Airways launched its first operations between Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince (PAP) and New York International Airport John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Ft. "Becoming the largest airline in Haiti in just five years of service is an important achievement and one of JetBlue's pride," said Giselle Cortes, Director of International Airports for JetBlue "These five exciting years have allowed us to to offer our Haitian customers a service at competitive rates and extend it to new cities [...] We are very grateful to our customers in Haiti and abroad for their support."
JetBlue offers its customers, the largest space between the rows of seats (calculated on the average of the space offered between the rows by the US airlines), a video entertainment screen at each seat and snacks and free non-alcoholic beverages (subject to availability).
