Haiti - Reconstruction : The ONA will invest $ 1.5 million in the Oasis Hotel Complex 31/03/2011 13:13:35
"The ONA is currently reviewing the project, we will make this investment that will be a good investment for our institution," said an official of the ONA. The Oasis Hotel Complex already benefit from a contribution of $ 7.5 million from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), member of the World Bank, to resume work after the earthquake of January 2010. A financial contribution, which had allowed define objectives even more ambitious than those set before the earthquake. This hotel complex of 20 million dollars, initiated more than 2 years ago by a group of Haitian businessmen, is located on the street Panaméricaine in Petion-ville (east of Port-au-Prince). Oasis Complex will accommodate one of the first new hotel built after the earthquake, 132 class rooms, a shopping mall, conference center, restaurants and a building for parking. A tangible symbol of the post-seism rebirth of Haiti, a source of jobs, a regional economic engine and a strong signal to foreign investors. S/ HaitiLibre
