Haiti - Bahamas : Message of sympathy from the President of the Senate

Following the sinking on February 2, 6 miles off the Abaco Islands north of the Bahamas archipelago, of a boat carrying an indeterminate number of Haitians where 28 of our compatriots are drowned drowned https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26837-haiti-flash-toll-rising-at-least-28-haitians-die-drowned-off-the-bahamas-update.html and whose funeral took place Sunday, February 10 at 2:00 pm at the auditorium Enock Backford, located on Garmichael Road in Nasseau https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26890-haiti-news-zapping.html , Carl Murat Cantave the President of the Senate is said to be "Deeply saddened by the tragic deaths of these compatriots [...] The words are of no help to express the pain I feel at this moment towards the relatives and friends affected by this tragedy.
I join all those taking part in the funeral of the victims this Sunday, February 10 to convey my deepest condolences to their parents."
Note that the costs of the funeral arrangement worthy for the victims of the sinking have been borne entirely by the Government of Haiti.
