Due to the serious socio-political crisis that Haiti has experienced since February 7 and the impossibility of guaranteeing the smooth running of the event and the safety of festival-goers, the Mayor of Croix-des-Bouquets, Rony Colin, informs the public in general and the crucienne population in particular, of the cancellation of the 3rd edition of the carnival which was to take place in the commune, on 22, 23 and 24 February 2019, around the theme "Kwadèboukè se kè m".

Mayor Colin and Municipal Council thank the members of the Committee who were in charge of organizing this 3rd edition for their dynamism, their dedication and their know-how.

Thanking also the members of the press, artistic and cultural actors, Noailles artisans, musical groups, bands and disc jockeys (DJ's), service providers, schools and public service institutions including : the Haitian National Police, the Haitian Red Cross, the Directorate of Civil Protection; the volunteer agents, the Scouts of Haiti, the technical partners, the sponsors and all other personalities and institutions who were committed to the success of this great cultural and popular event in the Commune.
