Arrest of an alleged gang leader

On Saturday, agents of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) arrested an individual identified as Max Roudolphe, while receiving treatment for gunshot wounds in a hospital center of the capital, presumed to be one of the Gang leader of the Deschamps alley in La Saline.

The rice grant deprives the State 250 million

US $65,000 grant to Le Vieux Chardo

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID - Haiti) Local Enterprise and Value Chain Enhancement Project (LEVE) granted the Le Vieux Chardo a subsidy of US $65,000 to co-finance the transport and packaging of their harvest and a solar energy system. Let's recall that Le Vieux Chardo produces and sells grapes in Chardonnières, in the South of France. Haiti : LEVE's support will allow the company to market grapes efficiently in the metropolitan area, increase the market value of locally grown grapes, which will encourage production and reduce imports.

Taiwan Ambassador Satisfies

The Ambassador of Taiwan (Republic of China) in Haiti, Hu Cheng Hao, Mrs. Élise Gelin the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Charles Ernest Chatelier, the Director General of the Fund for Economic and Social Assistance (FAES), visited the site of the community restaurant "Koridò Bastia". The FAES during this day distributed 3,000 hot dishes and 500 food kits to the inhabitants of Delmas 6 and Delmas 18.
