Haiti - FLASH : Following the crisis, a factory employing more than 10,000 workers began its process of withdrawal from Haiti

The Association of Industries of Haiti (ADIH) has noted the lost days for the country's economy during the month of February, following the total paralysis of activities throughout the territory, causing losses not yet evaluated in their entirety.

The ADIH underlines "This dangerous situation that prevailed in the country during 10 days of suspension of economic activities is not without consequences on all the sectors, in particular that of the outsourcing which could not function normally nor to respect its delivery contracts."

The ADIH who wonders "how long will we continue to get into this doldrums ?" points out that many questions are still unanswered, among others : How many losses recorded caused by these days of stoppage in the context of development of industrial parks ? How many plants and potential jobs were growing and how many are currently at stake?

The ADIH recalls that already "a factory employing more than ten thousand (10,000) workers in Caracol began its withdrawal process in Haiti"" and wonders with concern if there will be other...
