Haiti - DIGICEL : List of winners of the 2nd Edition «Konbit Pou Chanjman» 10/04/2019 11:27:20
Again this year, organizations were invited to submit projects aimed at developing their communities in one of the following categories: education, culture, inclusion, livelihoods, access and disaster prevention . After evaluation of the jury, 72 projects were selected for a field visit. Recall that the campaign has been enhanced for this second edition, from 11 winners last year to 16 winners this year. The premium has also been increased to 800,000 gourdes per winning organization, for a total of about 13 million gourdes. During this evening, Sophia Stransky, the Executive Director of the Digicel Foundation said "Konbit Pou Chanjman has allowed us to discover, once again, hundreds of committed women and men working with little financial means in the goal of improving the living conditions of the inhabitants of their communities. Their motivation, their sense of commitment and especially their faith in a better future for Haiti, inspire us and motivate us to give the best of ourselves to continue to build together this country of which we all dream. I wish success to this year's winners and especially perseverance to continue this noble fight."
