Haiti - Politic : Results of the work of the General Sectoral States of the Nation 13/04/2019 10:29:50
Barriers to political, economic and socio-cultural governance were discussed in sectoral meetings, five departmental forums (North, North-West, North-East, South-East, Nippes), a national preparatory forum for Arcahaie and 1 diaspora forum (Europe/Africa). This preparatory work brought together a total of several thousand participants. The main obstacles : incompatibility between certain outdated rules and those in force defined by the Constitution, the treaties and conventions of which Haiti is part which govern the relations in the political, economic and socio-cultural sectors.
