Haiti - FLASH : The PNH will deploy in all Gang territories
Following the armed attack of the Police Station of Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite, Friday, April 19, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27514-haiti-artibonite-violent-clashes-between-the-pnh-and-men-of-arnel.html the Haitian National Police (PNH) deployed an elite unit and regained control of the situation.

In a note of the Primature dated April 20, Prime Minister Jean Michel Lapin also President of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN) said he was determined to cope with the climate of insecurity and reaffirms his willingness to fight insecurity everywhere in the country.

He informs that similar deployments will be carried out in all areas occupied by armed gangs throughout the national territory and that clear instructions have been issued to this effect to the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) Michel-Ange Gédéon and the authorities concerned to hunt down and incapacitate all the armed gangs that sow mourning and fear among the people and restore calm and peace to the country.

Concluding "The State, at the highest level, reaffirms the will of the police to solve this problem of insecurity [...]"
