Our Grenadiers arrived Friday night in New Jersey, in the same flight as the opposing team the "Ticos" of Costa Rica, 1st Group B, that they will face Monday, June 24, after qualifying for 1/4 Gold Cup finals at the end of Thursday's match in tough weather conditions at Toyota Stadium against Nicaragua's "Pinoleros" [2-0] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28039-haiti-gold-cup-our-grenadiers-qualified-for-the-1-4-finals.html

After a day of recovery, our Grenadiers resumed Saturday night the way of training on one of the adjoining fields of "Red Bull Arena", the stadium where will be played the last group match and will decide the winner of the Group B between Grenadiers and Ticos

Remember that this is the fourth time in history that the Grenadiers qualify (2002, 2009 and 2015)

The Costa Rican "Ticos" at the top of Group B, qualifying by beating Bermuda [2-1] and Nicaragua [4-0] have a better goal difference (+5 against +3 for the Grenadiers) which in is the main issue of the meeting of Monday, June 24 at 9:00 pm (local time, same time in Haiti) on the lawn of the "Red Bull Arena" of the city of Harrison, New Jersey (USA).

Deprived of Wilde Donald Guerrier suspended for accumulation of cartons, our Grenadiers could however benefit from the return of Hervé Bazile who is about to recover from his physical problems. The last two training sessions leading up to Monday's game will allow coach Marc Collat to gauge the form and availability of each of the other 20 Grenadiers and also to compose his team.
