Haiti - Security : Political intolerance endangers democratic gains
It recommends to associations of journalists to the bosses of media, to accentuate, through an awareness campaign or public debates, the plea for the protection of the journalists and the premises of the media in times of disturbances or public tensions.
Renan Hédouville asked the authorities concerned to assume their responsibility in relation to the freedom of the press and the right to information in accordance with the international instruments for the protection of human rights.
