The Definitive Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies was set up Tuesday during a session that brought together 67 deputies. 53 of them, have promoted an office of 7 members to conduct the work in the Lower House.

It should be noted that 23 deputies contests the formation of this Bureau, they think that the Assembly should await the outcome of the investigation of the OAS/CARICOM on the 17 deputies contested. Fritz Chéry, the leader of this minority, has denounced the maneuvers of Deputies of the INITE block, who held the session despite, according to him, that a quorum was reversed. The deputy Fritz Chéry (AAA) estimates that only 46 deputies were present in the room during the vote.

The 49ème Haitian legislature is about to begin work. After the appointment of the Definitive Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies, les membres du Sénat ont rendez-vous ce mercredi pour procéder à la formation du bureau du Sénat, qui devra tenir compte des forces politiques représentées à l’assemblée.
