Following the installation of Rameau Normil https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28605-haiti-security-installation-of-the-new-dg-of-the-pnh-and-advice-of-gedeon.html , as new acting Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) last Tuesday replacing Michel Ange Gédéon, the Ambassador of the United States in Port-au-Prince, Michèle Sison and the team of the Embassy met the acting General Director of the PNH to discuss the many sectors of the partnership between the United States and the PNH, including cooperation in terms of training and law enforcement.

The United States says it remains committed to working with the PNH to ensure the safety and security of Haiti and the region.

Remember that the United States is the main partner of the National Police of Haiti and provide essential support in several areas including training and financial and material resources.
