More than 9,500 soldiers guard the Dominican border
The Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Rubén Darío Paulio Sem, said "The border is doing well, we have increased the number of posts at the border, even though we learned that a cargo of fuel had arrived in Haiti," recalling "About two years ago, we reinforced security at the border with 8,500 soldiers. $17.7M from OAS to fight corruption
Chancellor Bocchit Edmond announced that the Organization of American States (OAS) will support a program to fight corruption in Haiti.
