Haiti - FLASH : The opposition installs its Commission of transfer of power 11/10/2019 11:30:12
This Commission, in conjunction with the Assembly of Signatories of the Alternative, will have among other tasks to plan the immediate and orderly departure of Jovenel Moïse; propose a list of 3 judges of the Court of Cassation, one of whom will be designated to be the temporary President of Haiti and will have to take a "decree" for his installation within 30 days...; advise the signatories of the Alternative in the choice of the Prime Minister of the Transitional Government and submit a list of personalities from different sectors of national life for the formation of the Transitional Government. List of opposition members the Commission : Antoine Augustin (political activist and university professor); Mrs Antoinette Duclair (petrochallenger and member of solidarity of the Haitian consumers); Me Gervais Charles, former president of Port-au-Prince; Michel Legros (Representative of the Union of Popular Forces); Mrs. Claire Lydie parent, (former Mayor of Pétion city); Father Grandois (Representative of the Forces of the Progressive Opposition); Former Deputy Hugues Célestin; The writer Gary Victor (Representative of the movement of the 3rd way of Réginald Boulos); Colonel Himmler Rébu (former Minister under Martelly).
