In a document titled "Joint Declaration for a National Rescue Government for a Successful Transition" signed by 51 trade union organizations, 16 voodoo sector structures, 5 human rights organizations, 6 community organizations, 17 women's and youth organizations , 3 farmers' organizations and 9 private sector employers' organizations [Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haiti; Chamber of Commerce and Industry Center; Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Grande Anse; Chamber of Commerce and Industries of the West; Chamber of Commerce and Northern Industries; North East Chamber of Commerce and Industries; Haiti Industries Association (ADIH); The American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) and the Franco-Haitian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CFHCI)], after describing in detail a gloomy picture of the current situation in Haiti, invite all sectors to unite in one block solidarity to engage in in-depth discussions for a lasting solution to the crisis. "[...] While expressing our sympathies to the victims of the situation, we ask the public authorities and all the socio-political forces of the country to respond to this patriotic call, to rise to the height of their responsibilities. , to pose as responsible citizen-actors and to accept the sacrifices necessary for the resolution of the crisis.
