Haiti - Petit-Goâve : The base Rue Benoît and Pont La Digue «in war»
On Wednesday, November 6th, Junior Dufort, a member of the Base Rue Benoît, was shot by hunting cartridges and wounded by a large quantity of lead shot. He was taken to Notre-Dame Hospital in Petit-Goâve, who rushed him to Bernard Mevs Hospital.

"Kana" a member of the well-known Base La Digue Base, who is used to participating in opposition protests, was identified as the one who opened fire on Junior for a reason still unknown...

"It was the members of the local branch of the democratic and popular sector who took over Junior Dufort. They performed certain prescriptions and facilitated the transportation of the latter (Junior) to Port au Prince" said Professor Wilson Lemaine, at the microphone of Radio Préférence,

In spite of this incident, the opposition members came down late on the streets, but were pushed back to the level of the national road #2 by the armed men of base Pont La Digue...

From now on, Rue Benoît and Pont La Digue are in war.

Last minute : From his hospital bed, Junior Dufort, sent a message of peace and a call for calm to his supporters of Rue Benoît "Let no one react violently [...] I do not want [...] I would prefer that the residents of Pont La Digue return home and sleep in peace [...] I hope that Kana my attacker will have remorse."

According to the doctors, Junior will get out of it, but also touched in the face he will lose one of his eyes...
