Nearly normal activities in the country

New DG at the Anti-Corruption Unit
In the Official Journal Le Moniteur N°203 of Friday, November 29, 2019, the former Commissioner of the Government of Port-au-Prince, Me Claudy Gassant was appointed Director General of the Unit for the Fight Against Corruption (ULCC) . He replaces Major David Basile at this position and should be installed very soon.
Premeditated Assassination of Inspector General Lucius
Following the assassination in the evening of Sunday Inspector General Michael Lucius https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29414-haiti-news-zapping.html , the National Police of Haiti (PNH) informs that the murder took place around 8:30 pm, that 13 casings were found at the scene of the crime and that the first elements of the investigation suggest that it is a premeditated crime. On November 29, 3,000 hot dishes were distributed by the Fund for Economic and Social Assistance (FAES) to the inhabitants of Delmas 31. On Saturday, November 30, the FAES distributed 500 bags of rice to the inhabitants of Cité Soleil.

The Consulate of Haiti in French Guiana informs applicants that the passports of September 2019 are available at the Consulate. "Thank you for returning your receipts and old passports for the recoveries during office hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm."
