Haiti - FLASH : Every day near a police officer victim by bullet

Rameau Normil the General Director ai of the National Police of Haiti is deeply dismayed by the brutal disappearance of Inspector General Michael V. Lucius, murdered on the evening of December 1st, not far from his residence at Vivy Michel https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29414-haiti-news-zapping.html

"All the high command of the PNH bows to the remains of this brave officer who has earned the admiration of members of the staff and all the agents who had the privilege of working under his command [...]

Throughout his career, the Inspector General Michaël V. Licius has never back from the obstacles to meet the call of duty, that of helping to protect and serve the Haitian population," one reads in a note from the PNH.

Rameau Normil recalls that he does not forget the 24 members of the security forces shot by gunmen during attacks of bandits from September 20 to today, stressing that with the death of Licius, the the number of policemen shot dead during this period now stands at 10.

"[...] The General Directorate takes advantage of this painful circumstance to present its deepest condolences to the families of the inspector Michaël V. Licius, in particular and to all the Haitian families bereaved by the acts of assassination against policemen in general [...]" adding "The emotion and the deep sadness caused by these villainous acts, far from making us back down, only reinforce the determination of the National Police to accomplish its mission."

The Directorate informs the public that it will use all its resources and resources to apprehend all the perpetrators of these killings and refer them to the competent court.
