Haiti - Diplomacy : The Dominican Republic calls for urgent international support for Haiti

At the XIII China-LAC Business Summit (Latin America and the Caribbean), which ended Tuesday in Panama, Dominican Foreign Minister Miguel Vargas warned that the situation in Haiti poses a real and imminent threat to peace and security in the region and urged the international community to take effective measures to prevent the worsening of the humanitarian crisis in Haiti "We must prevent Haiti from falling into a spiral of total chaos, it would take years to recover.
