Haiti - Bahamas : The Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Haiti in Nassau, transferred to Chile

Dorval Darlier, the new Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Haiti in the Bahamas, received his transfer letter for Chile last week, less than four months after his appointment by the Haitian Chancellery https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28537-haiti-flash-corruption-at-least-4-haitian-diplomats-sanctioned-in-the-bahamas.html

Bocchit Edmond, the Minister of Foreign Affairs confirmed Darlier's transfer, declaring that his replacement will be announced soon, without explaining the reason for this sudden transfer.

Dorval Darlier, replaced in this post François Michel after the conclusion of the inquiry commission of Haiti where 5 people were implicated : François Michel and the former first secretary Sandhrinie Imbert were both transferred to Mexico and Ecuador respectively; former First Secretary Adras Andris was asked to resign; and former consul Herns Mesamours and former first secretary Blaise Claudy were recalled to Haiti.
