Haiti - News : Zapping... 10/01/2020 09:42:27 Sailors of sailboats or small boats (rowboat, bwa fouye) must avoid the high seas on all the coasts of Haiti until Saturday, January 11, 2020, inform the Hydrometeorological Unit of Haiti (UHM) in its last bulletin published this Thursday. According to the bulletin, the waves can reach up to 17 feet (5.18m) in height on the south coasts, 14 feet (4.26m) on the north coasts and 13 feet (3.96 m) in the Gulf of La Gonâve (opposite of Port-au-Prince bay). The UHM warns that isolated showers remain possible in the evening, especially on the reliefs of the departments of North, North-West and South of Haiti.
