Yesterday Tuesday, of agents of the Corps of Intervention and Maintenance of Order (CIMO) as well as of the Departmental Unit of Maintenance of Order (UDMO) were posted at the entrance of the parliament in order to prevent the entry within the Senate of senators judged at the end of their mandate by President Jovenel Moïse https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29760-haiti-flash-the-senators-react.html

The National Police of Haiti (PNH), with list in hand prohibit the entry or not to the Senate.

While it takes 16 senators to hold a meeting according to the rules of the Grand Corps, 8 out of 10 senators (senators Kedlaire Augustin and Pierre Paul Patrice Dumont were absent) still in office met, in the sitting room of the Senate of the Republic, in the Haitian Parliament, and was elected the new Bureau of the Senate with tendency Haitian Party Tèt Kale (PHTK) (same party as the President Jovenel Moïse), composed of 3 members the Senator of the South Pierre François Sildor (PHTK) is the new President, Jean-Marie Ralph Féthière (PHTK - North), Quaestor and Wanique Pierre (PHTK - North-East), Secretary.

In his speech, the president of the third of the Senate, Pierre François Sildor, underlined that the formation of this Bureau symbolizes the permanence of the Senate, he asked his colleagues to assume their responsibility in order to meet their obligations.
