Coronavirus February 8 global report

On Saturday February 8, 2020, the number of people infected worldwide (laboratory confirmed cases) rose to 34,945 people, an increase of 3,430 cases (+ 10.9%) compared to the previous day (31,515 cases); 725 dead (+ 13.6%) or 87 more than the day before (638 dead) and 2,326 people healed or 661 people (+ 39.7%) more than the day before (1,665) and 3.2 times more healing than deaths against 2.6 times the day before.

4 police officers killed in January

During the month of January 2020 in the metropolitan area, 20 people including 4 police officers were killed including 16 by bullets, according to a report of the National Episcopal Commission Justice and Peace.

Gonaïves : attempted fire at a UNIBANK branch
