A Haitian Hi-tech cane for the blind
On Thursday, February 20, a team from the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of People with Disabilities (BSEIPH) met with students from the Catts Pressoir College who developed a cane designed to give blind people more independence. This Hi-Tech cane includes a built-in GPS, voice assistance and an emergency call button. This meeting took place in the presence in particular of the Secretary of State Gérald Oriol Jr. (BSEIPH) and the Director of the College, Guy Etienne. Note that this "e-cane" project earned the team who worked on this innovation the title of national champion of the "Diamond Challenge" competition.

Qualifying, FIFA U-20 World Cup 2020

COVID-19 epidemic : Global report 23 February 2020
