Haiti - U-20F World Cup 2020 : End of the dream for Haiti
Friday in the semi-finals of the last qualifying phase of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup (Costa Rica / Panama 2020), on the lawn of the Olympic Stadium of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, our Grenadières faced Mexico and had to win to qualify for this World Cup.

Unfortunately, our valiant Grenadières who could not stand out ofa draw [1-1] after 30 minutes of regulatory overtime faced the shootout, which they lost, conceding 4 goals from the Mexico for 2 scored by Haiti [1-1- Tab 2-4] signing their elimination from this World Cup, after a flamboyant journey in this last phase of the qualifiers (38 goals scored for 3 conceded (including penalty shootouts) against for the Mexicans 30 goals scored and 5 conceded (including Shoot to the net).

This is Melchie Dumornay aka "Corventina" (the best goaler of the competition https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30189-haiti-u-20f-world-qualifier-our-grenadieres-qualified-for-the-semi-finals.html ) who opened the scoring at 56' [1-0] causing Haiti to vibrate qualified with this goal, but 12 minutes later Joseline Montoya at 68' equalized for Mexico [1-1], score unchanged after extra time.
