However, the Ministry acknowledges that the Government is aware of the many other challenges highlighted in the report and "undertakes to continue its efforts in order to achieve this ideal of full respect for human rights in Haiti." Note that certain challenges identified in the report will be presented by the Haitian Government during the universal periodic review to be held in Geneva (Switzerland) before the United Nations Human Rights Council.
