Haiti - NOTICE : Temporary restrictions on crowd activities
Audain Fils Bernadel, the Minister of the Interior and Territorial Communities, in accordance with the provisions taken by the Government and taking into account the need to preserve the life of the citizens compared to the threat of introduction and propagation of the pandemic of Covid-19 "informs the population that gatherings, regardless of their nature and purpose, are not recommended. In addition, nightclubs, concert halls and all other businesses with a related vocation, as well as the various operators using public spaces for crowd activities, are invited to reduce their actions; to respond to these recommendations, in accordance with the protocol for phase 1 in terms of prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic

The Departmental Delegates, the Vice-Delegates of the boroughs and the local elected representatives will take care, at the level of their respective jurisdiction, to dissuade any massive non-essential gathering throughout the territory.

These temporary restrictions are part of an exceptional framework which aims to prevent the introduction and contain a possible spread of Covid-19 in Haiti."
