Wednesday March 25, the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) inform us in a notice that there were a total of 8 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Haiti, 3 days later, in a new notice, as of March 28, the MSPP reports that the number of cases has almost doubled with 7 new cases, for a total of 15 confirmed cases, following the latest results of the national laboratory test for suspects.

West: Number of cases sampled: 60; Results available 60; Negative 51; Confirmed cases 9
South: Number of cases sampled: 4; Results available 4; Negative 4; Confirmed cases 0
South-East: Number of cases sampled: 9; Results available 9; Negative 7; Confirmed cases 2

Total: Number of cases sampled: 105; Results available 105; Negative 90; Confirmed cases 15

The average age of confirmed cases is as follows: 0-19 years 1 case, 20-44 9 cases, 45-64 years 4 cases and 65 years and over 1 case.

The MSPP recommends to :

- Stay home
- Always wash your hands
- Avoid putting your hands in your mouth, nose and eyes
- Always keep a distance of 5 steps from other people if you have to travel for an emergency.
