This is not a surprise... During the interview Mrs. Martelly declared that it is not a surprise if she is now the First Lady of Haiti "this is not a surprise at all because I accompanied my husband through his electoral campaign and I saw the effervescence of the population", adding that the day of the results there was a lot of emotion, "I was already prepared for this news". Mother of a population... and shy "...I must admit that making this interview is a big change because i am of a pathological shyness [...] I must tell you that as a mother, I am a mother of four children, now I feel I'll be a mother of an entire population." Less freedom... Sophia Martelly has also declared that now her life has changed, moreover she also believes that accompanying her husband, the President "will be something that will forever change our lives a little, not the fact to accompany it, but the lifestyle will change, at the level of security that surrounds us, our movements are controlled, we lost a certain freedom of our movements."
