Death of Mambo Annette Auguste The Mambo (voodoo priestess) and political activist Annette Auguste alias "Sò Anne", died on the night of Thursday to Friday April 17, 2020, at the age of 80 years, at the Bernard Mevs hospital, from cancer. "I would like to associate my voice with that of my wife Sophia Martelly to salute the memory and celebrate the passage among us of Annette Auguste. A BSEIPH delegation visiting Camp Lévèque Saturday April 4, 2020, a delegation from the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) led by Secretary of State Soinette Désir was visiting Camp Lévèque, locality of Cabaret where deaf people live, in view to make an inventory and to deepen the study of hydraulic works to allow the community of disabled people in Camp Lévèque to have access to drinking water. On this occasion, Mrs. Désir met with Josnel Exalus, President of the Association of the Deaf of Lévèque of Haiti around their various concerns.
