Haiti - Politic : The Group «Phantom 509» target of the justice

In a press release Lucmane Delille, the Minister of Justice and Public Security denounces "vehemently the acts of vandalism perpetrated on Monday April 27, 2020 in Port-au-Prince by hooded individuals wearing for most the police uniforms and claiming from an organization called 'Phantom 509' https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30641-haiti-flash-violent-demonstration-of-police-officers-of-the-group-phantom-509.html

Remember that in addition to the damage caused to private property, that the Ministry of the Economy, the National Identification Office, the National Old Age Insurance Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been victims of vandalism, intimidation of staff and several State vehicles burned in this surge of violence which animated the demonstrators...

While expressing his pride in our valiant police officers, Minister Délille "disapproves of these dishonest actions by this group of alleged police officers." He emphasizes "the rule of law for which we all work cannot, in any case, one cannot tolerate such acts" claiming to have "instructed the National Police of Haiti and the Government Commissioner to the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince to grasp the collar of the perpetrators of these acts [...]"
