Haiti - Politic : The Government has already sent 3,000 Gourdes of subsidies to 22,888 families

Following the promises made by President Moïse in his address to the Nation on March 27, to grant to approximately 1.5 million families among the most vulnerable a subsidy of 3,000 Gourdes https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30405-haiti-covid-19-moise-promises-food-to-1-million-families-and-cash-to-15-million-others.html the Government began its program and the first payments on Thursday 30 April. According to a note, the Mon Cash services of the Digicel Company confirms that
22,888 families have already received this amount on their phone.
The Government specifies that these grants will be made gradually and the beneficiaries will be informed by the authorities of the disbursement when it is ready.
