Japanese tennis star of Haitian descent Naomi Osaka is ahead of Serena Williams as the highest paid tennis player in the world. Naomi has earned $37.4 million in the past 12 months, reports Forbes Magazine.

Les Cayes prison : 2 contaminated prisoners
Thursday, Ronald Richemond, the Government Commissioner of Les Cayes confirmed that 2 detainees in police custody at Les Cayes prison have tested positive for Covid-19, stating that they were infected before they were taken into custody and that 'they are currently in quarantine.

No more curfew for journalists
"Journalists no longer need authorization to circulate and exercise their profession beyond 8:00 p.m. They are no longer affected by the curfew, according to a decree dated May 21, 2020. A victory for democracy !" said Guyler C. Delva

New arrival from China
Friday evening, Dr. Lauré Adrien Director General of the Ministry of Public Health received on the Tarmac of Toussaint Louverture International Airport a cargo containing 2 oxygen production units and 545 oxygen cylinders equipped with regulators which are part batches of medical materials and equipment ordered by the Haitian state from China as part of the fight against the Covid-19 in Haiti.
