Haiti - Climate : The situation by department 04/06/2011 12:21:51 For the department of Artibonite, the rain was intermittent throughout the department. No route blocked. For the department of Grand Anse heavy rains accompanied by light winds have hit all the department Thursday. Some rivers are in flood: river Grand Anse, river Voldrogue, River Guinaudée, river Dame Marie. In Jérémie three houses were damaged due to flooding. 9 families are homeless (6 to Gommier and 3 in Jérémie). In Roseaux, the river Voldrogue and the river Roseaux are in flood, six houses were damaged (floods) to Gommier. he river Dame Marie is in flood.
