Everyone would like to know when, the authentic text of the amendment of the Constitution of 1987, voted may 9 by Parliament will be published... On this subject, the informations are contradictory and maintains the confusion...
Thus, Sorel Jacinthe, the President of the Chamber of Deputies has indicated that the President Joseph Michel Martelly has already authorized the national Press to publish the corrected version of the amended constitution...
For his part, Me Gervais Charles, has wanted to reassure the parliamentarians on the commitments of the President to publish the authentic text as promised. He announced, last Saturday that a Presidential order of enforcement of the constitutional amendment is imminent... However, another person close to President Martelly, under cover of anonymity, said it was surprised by the statements of Me Charles.
