Haiti - Politic : Only 3 members of the CEP present at the convocation of President Martelly 08/06/2011 11:53:42
Following the meeting with President Martelly, the Advisor Laurette Croyance, representative of the Episcopal Church, declined to comment on the content of the interview nor comment on the reasons of the absence of other members of the CEP "All I can say is that they are not available." According to rumors, Gaillot Dorsinvil, the President of the Electoral Council charged of electoral fraud and corruption, would have fled to the Dominican Republic thanks to the complicity of Senator Moïse Jean Charles (INITE) This alleged complicity was refuted by the senator on a radio of the capitale which has denied any role in the alleged departure of Gaillot Dorsinvil "Never, I would have acted on this manner in favor of someone on which an investigation is conducted [...] I heard the rumors like everyone else. I can not confirm it. But if that's the case, it is quite regrettable." As to the other advisors absent, they would be in North America according to various sources.
