Haiti - Shipwreck : Final assessment and government assistance 24/08/2020 09:53:25 At the initiative of the first lady Martine Moïse and following the instructions of the Head of State and the Prime Minister, Éric Prévost Junior, Director General of the Maritime and Navigation Service of Haiti (SEMANAH), went on the island on Saturday 22 August to express the Government's solidarity and provide assistance to the relatives of the victims and the survivors. An envelope of 50,000 Gourdes was given to the parents of the victims and the survivors each received an accompaniment of 10,000 Gourdes. Deploring the loss of human life, Éric Prévost Junior, on behalf of President Moïse, his wife Martine and Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe, presented his sympathies to the parents of the victims.
