Naomi Osaka didn't have to do too much to outperform Shelby Rogers without having the easy part. Shelby Rogers who tried a lot, was unsuccessful (27 unforced errors for 23 winning shots) and succumbed to the pressure.

Naomi will face the American 25-year-old Jennifer Brady (41st in the world) in the semifinals, who has not lost a set in this tournament and exudes an impressive serenity.
