Moïse promises honest and democratic elections
Thursday during the 75th ordinary session of the United Nations during the general debate of the General Assembly, President Jovenel Moïse declared in a pre-recorded video message "[...] Today, the Republic of Haiti is cut off from an institution essential to the proper functioning of democracy, the Parliament. We have set up a new Provisional Electoral Council to achieve credible, transparent, inclusive, free, honest and democratic elections..."

MOPOD announces demonstrations

Cooperative Support Fund
The Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) this week launched the Cooperative Support Fund. This fund aims to support any Cooperative of Savings and Credit (CEC) in difficulty or facing financing needs to support its growth or finance a project. Note that all cooperatives in Haiti currently have more than 1.1 million members.
