President Michel Martelly : "...Once again I recommend you the Prime Minister-designate, because I think the country needs it. [...] after this little time, that I am at the head of the country, I see the quantity of problems we have, there are many. We need experts, people who are capable, people who prioritize the country of Haiti and I believe that we have succeeded [...] together with the Prime Minister, to set up a team that is ready to work. Haiti is, as we know, to a difficult crossroads, often, the parliamentarians do not know the Executive and tend to think that the thing will be difficult. What you see is what is, a team of young Haitian who wants to serve our country. We must use every channel we have, parliamentarians, executive and judiciary to achieve to bring what we want to the Haitian people.
