The session to the Lower House, scheduled for a ratification vote or not of the Prime Minister, has started with several hours of delay to 4:00 p.m. and suspended to 6:37 p.m.

The beginning of the session had extremely started badly when some Deputies have tried to introduce in vain to the agenda, the validation of the power for the 13 new deputies whose the victory has been published, on the decision of the President Martelly in the official newspaper "Le Moniteur".

Outraged by the ban made to these newly elected to sit in the Assembly, after the parliamentary elections contested, some twenty deputies, favorable to the designation of the Prime Minister, have decided to leave the debating chamber. Leaving a quroum fragile, the session continued with 54 deputies who after verification was limited to only 51 deputies...

As the situation became confused in the Assembly, contradictory and degenerated among the Deputies, the President of the House, Sorel Jacinthe, considering that the atmosphere would not allow a calm debate has proceeded, on the recommendation of Deputy Jean Tholbert Alexis, President of the Commission responsible for studying the documents in the file of the Prime Minister-designate, to the suspension of the session and its postponement for Tuesday. The Assembly of Deputies has not even had time to debate on the report and the zones of shadow, subject of contestations... [nationality of Daniel Rouzier, American residence...]

However, some parliamentarians saw on this postponement a new opportunity of negotiations between the Executive and Legislative in order to facilitate possibly the ratification of Mr. Rouzier whose future is currently still uncertain.
