The Chamber of Deputies rejected the choice of Prime Minister-designate, Daniel Gérard Rouzier by a vote of 19 in favor, 42 against and 3 abstentions.
Here are the last words of the session of ratification of the Prime Minister-designate, Daniel Gérard Rouzier "...count 19 members for the choice of Daniel Gérard Rouzier as Prime Minister, 42 against, 3 abstentions. Mr. Daniel Gérard Rouzier, the choice of Mr. Daniel Rouzier by the President of the Republic is rejected, we will write to the President of the Republic to inform and ask him to choose another Prime Minister" has declared, Sorel Jacinthe, President of the Lower House.
