Haiti - News : Zapping... 12/11/2020 11:01:58 The decapitated body of a young woman, identified as Anise Boisrond, was discovered by the police in a field in Durocher, a locality of Torbeck (South Dept.). The 22-year-old victim was kidnapped on Sunday (November 8) during incidents at a Vodou ceremony in Antan, (locality of the 2nd communal section). Anise Boisrond’s boyfriend was arrested by police and judicial authorities of South who launched a wanted notice against the known Enel, presented as the main suspect in this case. Haiti is among the priority countries of Hand in Hand." 26th anniversary of the Ministry for the Status of Women Pradel Henriquez Minister of Communication wishes a happy 26th birthday (November 8) to the Ministry for the Status of Women and Women's Rights in general, and to his colleague Minister Marie Ghislaine Monpremier in particular. "This is 26 years of struggle for the emancipation, the autonomy of women, as well as the change of their condition of existence [...] it is therefore an opportunity to renew the Government's commitment in this battle in favor of changing the living conditions of Haitian women including the struggle for their economic freedom," Minister Henriquez stressed.
