Haiti - Politic : Martelly has formed a team to negotiate with the parliamentarians

Before submitting a new candidate for Prime Minister's Office, the President Martelly held Friday evening, a meeting of several hours, with the Presidents Rodolphe Joazile [Senate] and Sorel Jacinthe [of the Chamber of Deputies] in order to create first a consensus to avoid a second failure and get a favorable vote. Michel Martelly has announced that he will unveil next week the name of his new Prime Minister after having obtained the agreement and insurance, from the Presidents of both Houses.

In a statement of the office of communications of the President, the Head of State indicated that he formed a team composed of : Me Thierry Mayard Paul [his chief of cabinet], Me Grégory Mayard Paul, Calixte Valentin and Pierre Pompée. This team is mandated, to find during this weekend, an agreement with the political groups in order to ensure a favorable vote by both houses of the future Prime Minister-designate, while taking into account "the reality of the democratic experience" and ensuring that his Program of campaign is not altered.

Pending ratification of the future Prime Minister-designate, the President Martelly has asked to Jean Max Bellerive [outgoing Prime Minister] to implement his program of campaign. The former Prime Minister should hand to the Head of State, early next week, a report of situation and action.
