The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) is working normally. We are finalizing the report of the last elections, said Gaillot Dorsinvil which announces that a Commission, composed of lawyers has been created for the overhaul of the electoral law.

Concerning the allegations of fraud and corruption against members of the CEP and its President, Dorsinvil Gaillot declared :

"...when the truth will be known, everyone will see where the problem lies, I feel that the history will give us reason. For now, these are allegations, they are intimidation that are made. As I said before, there are people who do not accept the results of the April 4 [...] If today they intimidate members of the Council and myself, it is because of these results [...] we wanted that the popular vote is respected and it's what i did [...] If I had to repeat April 4, I will do it again, because I am a person who keeps his word, I said that it is necessary that the vote of the people is respected and we have proved..."
