Haiti - USA : American assistance to fight against kidnappings
David Mosby, Director of the International Bureau of Narcotic Drugs and Law Enforcement (INL) in Haiti, met with Rockefeller Vincent the Minister of Justice and Public Safety and Léon Charles, the Director General ai of the Haitian National Police (PNH), to discuss American assistance in combating kidnappings and gang violence, as well as their support to strengthen the PNH's capacity to control crowds while emphasizing the need to guarantee respect for human rights.

They later met with the team of specialists from the Colombian National Police's anti-kidnapping service. The mission of the Colombian police officers, financed by the INL, consists in carrying out an assessment during a period of three months of the capacity of the PNH to fight against kidnappings and to make recommendations in order to make improvements https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-33098-haiti-news-zapping.html
